How do I install my Queen?
If you are not sure how to put your Queen into your colony, here's some advice.

What stock or subspecies are these queens?
These Queens are of mixed origin and are bred from mother Queens selected from
the best of our 40 hives. Candidate Queens which have overwintered at least once are
rated and grafts are made from the best. Our bee yards are not far from one another
and we maintain them as separate genetic pools so that there are diverse drones to
mate from.

What are some common mistakes that will make my hive kill the
new queen?
The workers will kill a new queen if they are aware of another
queen already established. If a colony has swarmed, the old
queen leaves, but they have already designated a new queen.
